Worthington Fire Department is located on Highway 22 and Interstate 71, and is a rapidly growing suburb of over 30,000 people within 19 square miles in northeast Jefferson County (Louisville, Kentucky). We are a respected leader within the fire service and a trusted agency when counted upon to provide mutual aid to neighboring agencies.
We pride ourselves on being dedicated to the community in which we live, serve and protect. We currently staff thirty-eight (38) full and part-time personnel in addition to forty (40) volunteers, all responding to an average of over 1900 calls per year.
